BACA Architects‘Aquatecture – Blue Water Thinking’

Baca are pioneering the design and construction of ‘Aquatecture’, a new form of planning and design on water and with water. Some of their projects include the UK's first amphibious house, floating restaurants, an outdoor surf centre in the city, Liverpool waterspace strategy, a sail and ride station, flood resilient city design and the climate adaptive neighbourhoods. This event will include a short presentation of some of the project work followed by a hearty discussion with an expert panel from the UK and international guests. Themes for discussion include, utilising water space, going with the flow, climate adaptive buildings and water in or water out.

Confirmed speakers include Jay Merick of the Independant.
