‘Green Walls and Ecosystem Services’
Tuesday 18 Sept, 1.00pm – 2.00pm;
Thursday 20 Sept, 1.00pm – 2.00pm
With an increasingly urbanised and growing population, the pressures on people and the urban environment are growing rapidly.
Green walls provide high volumes of planting with minimal footprint
and give psychological relief (biophilia), filter pollution from the
air, add thermal insulation and cooling, reduce Urban Heat Island effect
and increase urban biodiversity.
Meeting point: Meet at the green wall outside Edgware Road Tube Station (Bakerloo line), W2 1DY
To book: firstname.lastname@example.org (20 places per event)
